Reviews software tools from inside a one-person business. Writes about the workflows, pricing decisions, and tooling traps solo operators run into.
I write Get Stack Smart from the inside of a one-person business. The reviews and articles here are based on tools I actually pay for and use, not vendor briefings or press releases. If a review reads like marketing copy, that is a bug. Email me and I will fix it.
Most software review content is written for fifty-person agencies; almost none of that advice applies when the team is one. This site exists to be the version I needed and could not find.
How I work
- I do not review tools I have not personally used for at least 30 days.
- Affiliate relationships do not change rankings. The pros and cons box on each tool page is what I would say to a friend over coffee.
- Reviews are updated when products materially change. The Last reviewed date on each page reflects the most recent pass.
- If I am wrong about something, I want to hear about it. The fix is faster than the defensiveness.
